Apaca Moving & Storage Company is looking for Drivers - Regular & Class A Drivers as well as Movers & Packers. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Examine customer paperwork to get assignments and directions on the type of equipment needed for the job, work hour requirements and completion time from dispatcher. Load moving pads and tools to assemble and disassemble household goods furniture and/or office items into or out of truck for safe transport to customer residence or office. Blanket wrap furniture for safe transport to and from customer residence or office. Carry furniture and other items such as boxes long distances, upstairs and up and down hallways to either moving truck or another office. Assist with assembling and un-assembling of furniture or office equipment. Stoop, bend and continually lift up to 100lbs for long periods of time. Provide exceptional customer service during move, pack and unpack of household goods or office equipment. Other tasks as needed. Pass pre-employment and random drug tests as required. Looking for a CDL driver to haul farm products from Moriarty to other cities in New Mexico. Day trips. Paid by the load. Can start immediately. Experience with belt trailers and heavy equipment helpful. Contact us for more information. We are a family farm that delivers corn silage (belt trailer), year round, and alfalfa (flat bed), in the summer and fall, to dairies in New Mexico from the Moriarty area. We haul feed 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This position will require weekend work and early mornings. One or two loads may be hauled in a day depending on the delivery location and season. We drive mostly 2016-2020 Freightliner Casacadias. We use a front end loader to load trailers and the driver is usually responsible for loading and unloading. Loader experience is helpful but not required. A valid class A CDL is required and must be able to be insured by our insurance company. Pay is twice a month, on the 1st and 15th. A W-2 will be provided. Pay is $110/load from Moriarty to Belen area and $205/load from Moriarty to Clovis area.
