What You’ll Do: - Keep our hotel in top condition with repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, building systems. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and get things back on track quickly. - Pitch in with everything from locks and doors to painting and landscaping. - Perform routine preventative maintenance programs, follow established guidelines - Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (examples: drywall, painting, doors, locks, building fixtures) - Respond promptly to guest needs and work orders—because every detail matters. - Work closely with your supervisor on projects and safety standards. - Work with supervisor to identify and complete all technical projects - Respond timely to all work orders - Clean and assist with upkeep of facility What We’re Looking For: - Previous maintenance or related experience, hotel experience preferred - Knowledge of kitchen, refrigeration, and life safety systems a bonus. - Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset. - Ability to stay organized, work independently, and juggle priorities. - Working knowledge of fire protection and life safely systems preferred - Strong verbal and written communications skills - Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance - Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
