REAL Inc. is seeking a Day Habilitation Specialist to assist the individuals with acquiring, developing and accessing functional skills and supports (both social and environmental) successfully in the community. Available shifts are: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm Responsibilities: Teaching skills needed to promote independence, inclusion and productivity Teach/model appropriate social skills Provide transportation to and from the day habilitation program, as well as in the community Provide supervision to individuals in accordance with individual treatment plan. Transport individuals in a safe and comfortable manner, following all NYS Law and Agency procedures. Complete required documentation daily. Participate in recreational trips and community outings assisted by program. Attends all required meetings and trainings. Provide assistance with travel training. Complete other responsibilities as requested Qualifications: Must have High School Diploma or GED Must have at least one years experience working with IDD population Must have a valid NYS drivers license Must successfully pass the required road test. JOB TITLE: WIOA/CSBG Case Manager JOB LOCATION: Eureka, CA SUPERVISOR: Executive Director SUPERVISES: Program Assistant FLSA Status: Non-exempt COMPENSATION: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour SUMMARY: Located on the beautiful North Coast, the Northern California Indian Development Council, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation that annually provides services to 14,000 to 15,000 clients statewide. NCIDC was established in 1976 to research, develop, and administer social and economic development programs designed to meet the needs of Indian and Native American Communities; to provide support and technical assistance for the development of such programs, and the conservation and preservation of historic and archeological sites and resources. REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have an Associated Arts (AA) Degree (or better) in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act WIOA, or a minimum of four (4+) years prior experience in U.S. DOL funded employment and training programs.
