What You’ll Do: This is a part time position. Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access controls), detecting and addressing anomalies. Investigate and manage alarm events, dispatching security or emergency response personnel as needed. Respond to incidents and escalate issues to appropriate internal or external stakeholders. Follow established security procedures to coordinate with internal teams and initiate contact with appropriate emergency responders. Proficiency with security tools (surveillance, access control, and alarm software) and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently, and manage priorities Shifts include nights and weekends. Honest, responsible, and trustworthy when handling confidential information. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give and follow clear instructions. Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record. Ability to pass a background check with an emphasis on security. High school diploma or GED required. COMMUNITY SAFETY OFFICER We are a small upscale residential community, seeking Safety Officers for gated neighborhood in western Colorado Springs near Garden of the Gods. Full and part-time positions (20 to 40 hours weekly) available. Full medical/dental/vision benefits included. Starting pay of $15 to $17 per hour and up, depending on qualifications, with a $0.50 raise following six months of successful performance of duties. Duties include: • Controlling access to the neighborhood and managing package deliveries • Providing highest level of customer service in person and by phone • Maintaining safety reports and logs, and patrolling the neighborhood • Calling police, fire, and medical personnel, as necessary • Any other duties as identified by the lead officer.
