Job Summary: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. First shift runs from 5:30 am - 1:30 pm and third shift runs 11 pm -7 am Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electronic equipment, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning. Fabricate replacement parts when necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization / fulfillment equipment and support equipment. Work with machine operator to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files. Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues. Implement programs to increase OEE. Utilize KPI's to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime. Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of repairs, tests and inspections, and document processes for future reference. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls. Job Specifications: Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities. Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid. Requires normal hand, eye and walking coordination. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance (multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, rotary tools). Required Skills & Knowledge: Requires a strong working knowledge of electronics and pneumatic systems. Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical/pneumatic schematics. Must possess the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Must possess an excellent knowledge of basic hand tools. Must possess strong mathematics and computer skills. The pay for this position starts at $28 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus. Some troubleshooting skills are required. • Visually inspect parts and determine if they meet the acceptable quality limits. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment. • Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product. • Log all rejects on the Attribute Charts. • Review the operator inspection procedure before taking over any job. • Label all boxes after packaging to ensure proper handling of parts. • Ability to use basic measuring Equipment. • Degate and trim parts as required using secondary machinery to accomplish. • Ability to perform secondary operations such as gluing, welding, trimming, and some assembly. • Ability to use part count scale. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Knowledge of various measuring equipment. • 6 months of consistent and recent work history Required Skills • Strong written/verbal communication • Good decision-making skills • Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities. • Regular and predictable attendance. • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. • Basic math skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Basic PC and internet skills. We manufacture vacuum tables out of aluminum, and stainless steel. We have lots of customers who need Solid works design concepts. We manufacture different styles, sizes and shapes. The work load is on and off but averages maybe 20 hours a week and can be done off site after you understand the concepts. First we need some minimal design concepts to show the customers and if they order we need detail drawings. We have the system down and have been manufacturing these for over 35 years.
