This is a boutique personal injury firm located in downtown Bellevue with over 16 years of legal service history. The attorney will have a window office, in a prestigious building. Excellent bonus programs in addition to hourly pay. Work description: Pre-litigation and litigation work on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Assist lead attorney as well as working independently on writing demands, respond to and make requests for discovery, negotiations, etc. Other qualifications: Good knowledge of civil procedures. Attention to detail and good writing skills . Interest in helping people who have been injured and/or suffered a loss. Job Overview The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services and support to our clientele. Duties • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including demand letters. • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients while ensuring their best interests are represented. • Provide legal advice to clients . • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and assist in trial preparation when necessary. • Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations. • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas. Experience • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar association is required. • Experience in PI cases is preferred but not mandatory. • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly. • Prior experience in a legal administrative role is a plus but not required.
