This role demands precision, accuracy, and consistent output in a fast-paced production environment. Minimum Qualifications Strong attention to detail and consistent quality awareness Good verbal communication and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Comfortable with repetitive upper-body and arm movements, including bending, twisting, on pull/push cycles next to the machine Able to lift and safely carry items weighing 20 to 50lb, occasionally, with proper technique or team lift as needed Capable of standing or walking continuously for an entire shift (11.5 hour shifts) Excellent attendance is essential; must adhere to schedule and punctuality expectations Willingness to work overtime, evenings or weekends as business needs require

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician FLSA Category: Hourly, Non-Exempt Shift: 1st Shift Reports to: Maintenance Manager Summary: Speed North America in Wooster, OH, is seeking a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure that production equipment is in the best operating condition possible to produce the highest quality trimmer line products, and at the highest level of safety and productivity. Equipment includes; extrusion, injection molding and packaging automation, facility and infrastructure equipment, process tooling and fixturing, measuring and monitoring devices. Job Duties: • Perform highly diversified preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement of equipment and machinery in the facility. • Increase process knowledge and skill level specific to Speed North America in the pursuit of minimizing downtime and scrap, and improving production efficiency. • Confer and cooperate with the Maintenance and Engineering Managers and various Departmental Managers to review goals, objectives and priorities, and to ensure that we satisfy our customers’ needs and expectations. • Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement activities across the shop. • Adhere to the highest safety standards and regulations for performing maintenance work and returning equipment to normal operating conditions. • Ability to read and understand blueprints, procedures and equipment manuals, and make recommendations for the cost-effective procurement of replacement parts. • Ability to multi-task between preventative maintenance/project tasks and unplanned downtime issues. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • High School Diploma or Trade School Certification, or equivalent combination of education and 1-3 years of prior experience in industrial maintenance. • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems is preferred. • Working knowledge of PLC controls and robotic systems is also preferred. • Effective verbal and written technical communication.
