San Antonio Staffing is currently hiring Production Supervisors for the AM & PM Shifts. This is a Manufacturing company in the Southwest side of San Antonio. Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions: -Directs a production team -Monitors product quality by ensuring customers' requirements are met, self-testing is performed and analyzed, in accordance with procedures and production specifications. -Provides training, leadership, and coaching to associates to create a culture of inclusion and engagement. Works with management team to evaluate the performance of individual associates. -Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment through compliance of all company, Local, State and Federal mandates, and internal safety programs. -Drives a Continuous Improvement (CI) environment by improving products, service, and processes with the objective to reduce waste, while striving for efficiency. -Demonstrates support of Food Safety Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure adherence to all quality requirements including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and performs regular line inspections to evaluate, implement and enforce. -Ensures production associates execute and maintain records for all phases of production, as required. -Provides cross training to associates for maximum coverage of production line. Supervise and control completion of established standards regarding consumption and quality. - Utilize root cause analysis to identify problems and implement corrective actions to improve the performance of the production lines. -Conducts incident investigations, responsible for first reporting processes, communicates to upper management and works with internal departments for preventative action implementation. Schedule Available 2nd Shift 5:45p- 6:00a Job Qualification Requirements: -3-5 years of supervisory is a plus and/or leadership role in food manufacturing preferred -Work with all supervisors to pass on communication that will avoid quality or downtime issues -Extensive knowledge of food manufacturing process.
