Fuse is currently developing, integrating, and testing secure communications networks for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments. This role will architect and develop network-based solutions throughout all phases of the development cycle, from requirements generation, to testing, to deployment. Must have in-depth experience with Linux, modeling environments and virtualized systems.  What you'll do: Develop and provide input for network architectures for our systems and customers Develop configurations for switches and routers Translate user and system requirements to system functionalities and reality Develop and implement network security architectures with HAIPE, IPSEC, TLS, and other protocols WAN, LAN, WLAN, VOIP setup and troubleshooting   Support design, development, and test efforts for an airborne tactical networking system Implement router protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP, PPPoE, and MANET Implement IA controls and ensure compliance with DoD RMF Work as a team throughout the design process, supporting sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and scrums Get in front of real-world operators to understand needs and requirements from an end-user point of view Requirements B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related Technical field, or 5 years equivalent experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Routing & Switching (or CCNA Security) 5+ years of experience as a network engineer Understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, subnets, protocols, and standards Demonstrated experience with Linux OS Experience with Linux System Administration, firewalls and settings Experience with virtualized systems applications and administration (VMWare, Esxi,KVM) Excellent communication skills US Citizen Ability to obtain or maintain a secret clearance Your own unique talents!  If you meet some requirements of this position but not 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you’d be a great fit for this role based on your specific characteristics that align with our values and goals.
