We are looking for someone with excellent work ethics and who is willing to put forth an honest effort at work. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team when requested, with minimal supervision. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Clean all hotel rooms according to established standards. • Keep the work cart organized, fully stocked with necessary cleaning supplies, and in a clean condition. • Remove used linens from rooms and replace them with clean linens; replenish consumable items. • Make beds, dust, clean, vacuum, clean bathrooms, and mop floors. REQUIREMENTS: • Must have energy and physical ability to maintain a normal work pace. • Must be able to walk constantly, climb stairs, push and pull the work cart, and lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to reach with arms, bend down, and kneel when necessary to perform cleaning tasks. • Must be able to understand, speak, and write in Spanish, and follow both verbal and written job instructions. • No prior hotel housekeeping experience is required; training will be provided, but candidate must have a strong willingness to learn. The position is 5 days a week, starting at 8:30 am from Monday to Friday, and at 9:00 am on Saturdays and Sundays. You will have 2 days off, but must be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to fit the schedule. PAY: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on applicant's experience.
