ISO: sound artist a la The Books (Berkeley)

we are looking for someone who is interested in incorporating found recordings, samples, sound effects, etc into live, improvised and very textural music. thinking that the samples could take up the space of a vocalist. some more inspiration: matmos, tortoise, devo, howlin wolf.. here’s an example of our improvisations, with some sound effects that we laid in after the fact. https://milkbeef.bandcamp.com/album/everything-you-ate-today we would ideally like to make this type of thing happen in real time for greater connection and spontaneous combustion. it doesn’t matter to us if you can make sounds with other instruments or not, so long as youre a good person and a good listener. but having skills with a drum machine or a synth would of course be exciting give a shout if this sounds intriguing, Leo-n-Magnus
