Owned and operated by Joanne and Ross Currie, we’ve become famous for our award-winning Clam Chowder—serving over 40,000 gallons a year! Our bakery and café have been featured in national and international publications and TV shows, all thanks to our commitment to quality, flavor, and unforgettable guest experiences. Position Overview: Bakery Production Team Member Key Responsibilities: * Accurately measure and weigh ingredients * Prepare doughs for bread bowls, breads, croissants, and Danishes * Mix muffin batters and prepare pastry fillings * Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters * Monitor baking process to ensure high-quality and consistent results * Clean and maintain work area and equipment * Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards * Report inventory, equipment, or facility concerns to the Operations Manager * Assist with other duties as needed Requirements: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Previous experience in a bakery or food production is a plus—but we’ll train the right person! * Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail * Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs. * Must have strong communication and teamwork skills * Availability for weekend shifts as needed * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. * Embrace Splash Café core values: Splash Experience, Family, Motivated, Problem Solver, and Empathetic Location: 930 Huber Street, Suite G, Grover Beach, CA 93433 Employment Type: Part-Time (variable hours based on production needs) Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE + tips (approx. $5.00 per hour)!
