ROOM ATTENDANTS for housekeeping in hotel (Atascadero)

Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Atascadero, CA HOUSEKEEPERS For guest room cleaning. No experience required. We are looking for someone with excellent work ethic and willingness to put forth an honest effort in their work. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team when requested, with minimal supervision. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Clean all hotel rooms according to established standards. • Keep the work cart organized, fully stocked with necessary cleaning supplies, and in a clean condition. • Remove used linens from rooms and replace them with clean linens; replenish guest amenities. • Make beds, dust, clean, vacuum, clean bathrooms, and mop floors. REQUIREMENTS: • Must have energy and physical ability to maintain a normal work pace. • Must be able to walk continuously, climb stairs, push and pull a work cart, and lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to reach, bend, and kneel when necessary to perform cleaning tasks. • Must be able to understand, speak, and write in Spanish, and follow both verbal and written job instructions. • No prior hotel housekeeping experience is required; training will be provided, but candidate must be eager to learn. This is a 5-day-per-week position, starting Monday through Friday at 8:30 am, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 am. You will have 2 days off, but must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to accommodate the schedule. PAY: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on applicant's experience.
