House Attendant & Laundry Attendant (Atascadero)

JOB DESCRIPTION When working as a Laundry Attendant; perform every aspect of the laundry process as instructed, which includes collecting soil linens, transporting them to the laundry room, sorting, and loading and unloading the washer machines, loading the dryers, folding all the dry linens and transporting back to the linen closets. When working as a House Attendant; following instructions of assigned tasks, assuring that all areas of the hotel which, include but is not limited to breakfast room, lobby, public bathrooms, fitness center, hallways, stairways, ice rooms, guest laundry, linen closets, etc. are clean and properly maintained, removing all the trash bags from all the trash bins throughout the hotel and from the Room Attendants carts and transporting and disposing of all the trash into the assigned containers. The Job is 5 days a week, that could start from 8:00 or 9:00 am which includes Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. There will be days assigned as Laundry Attendant, and other days as House Attendant. REQUIREMENTS • Must have the proper energy and physical ability to keep up with a fast pace environment thar requires walking, going up and down stairways, and able to push, pull and maneuver the carts through the hallways all public areas and guest rooms that are used for the various functions of the job that will have heavy loads, and able to lift up to 60 lbs. as required. • Must be able to bend down, squat and kneel occasionally to perform cleaning tasks and laundry tasks. • Must be able to understand, speak, and write either English or Spanish and follow verbal and written instructions for the various tasks. • No prior experience is necessary. We are looking for a dependable person that can be on time and on the assigned days as the schedule requires, has a great attitude, works at a fast pace, a quick learner, collaborates and is part of the team, and can take feedback and constructive criticism.
