Role Description: As a Professional Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities: -Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various destinations. -Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and compliance. -Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all deliveries and hours of service. -Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers and customers. -Handle goods with care to prevent damage and ensure proper delivery. -Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed. -Represent Hogland Transfer Company with a positive and professional attitude. Required Qualifications: -Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. -Hazmat Endorsement or willing to get one prior to employment (Some loads include lead acid batteries) -53' experience is a must -Flatbed experience is helpful -Proven experience as a professional driver in the trucking industry. -Minimum 1 year of Truck Driving experience (2 years preferred) -Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. -Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy items. -Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
