Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in 4th and 5th axis machining and CNC lathe operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes, including 4th and 5th axis operations. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions of finished products. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions. Follow lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications 3+ years of CNC machining experience (4th and 5th axis preferred). Proficient in G-code and CNC controls (Haas, Fanuc, or similar). Strong understanding of tooling, feeds/speeds, and material characteristics. Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Skills Proficient in CNC programming and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with electrical discharge machining is a plus. Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and CAM programming techniques. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and assembly techniques. Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is advantageous. Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred. We’re looking for hard-working MASKING TECHNICIANS to become part of our team! You’ll be responsible for preparing parts by cleaning and masking them for the plating process. If you’re already a skilled masker, who understands how to interpret blueprints and preferably has experience in the aerospace industry, that’s a plus! WHAT YOU WILL DO You will efficiently and accurately mask parts in accordance to the predefined work order prior to the metal finishing process. Maskers apply tape, wax, paint, or other materials to aerospace parts using various equipment and tools. You will prepare raw material for masking including but not limited to hand wiping, blowing out holes, chemical cleaning, etc. You will reference blueprints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on the print. You will help monitor inventory levels and the request to purchase supplies and materials to meet production requirements in a timely manner. You will assist in the inspection of product and notifies the Production Supervisor of any non-conformances. You will record masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required. You will communicate and practice proper packaging techniques to ensure the safe transportation of parts to internal & external customers. You will communicate and accurately complete daily productivity documentation to ensure on-time delivery. You will always work safely and comply with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals. You will maintain equipment and the work area in a clean and organized manner.
