Position Overview We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to support projects in IT, telecom, low-voltage cabling, security cameras, POS systems, EV charging, and other technical service deployments. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow client requirements while representing 4BE Networks professionally onsite. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber) Deploy and troubleshoot networking equipment (switches, routers, access points) Perform structured cabling for retail, warehouse, and office environments Install and service security cameras, alarm systems, and access control Support telecom/POS system installs and troubleshooting Conduct site surveys and provide detailed documentation Assist with EV charging station installs and related electrical prep (with supervision if required) Follow scope of work, check-in/out procedures, and client deliverable requirements Communicate effectively with dispatch/project coordinators Requirements Experience in IT, telecom, or low-voltage cabling (1–3 years preferred) Knowledge of structured cabling, terminations, and testing tools Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, switches, access points) Tools required: laptop with Ethernet port, punch-down tool, RJ45 crimper, tone tester, drill, basic hand tools Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites Strong professionalism and communication skills

We are looking to hire someone who has experience in Cat6 cabling and installation, TV mounting, POS installation, networking to start part time and progress from there. Day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance related to routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, packet shapers, wireless systems, and circuits. Design, implement, and monitor network systems related to: Cisco network routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi systems, Circuits: WAN/MPLS, internet, replication, SIP, Network VPNs. Assure off-site disaster recovery environment is consistently available. Participate in disaster recovery testing as directed. Work with IT Security Team to select, implement, and maintain security-related systems and address related incidents/events. Conduct troubleshooting and repair tasks on network at a detailed level and by device. Identify and resolve recurring issues and mitigate reliability risks. Coordinate, plan, and/or execute multiple annual disaster recovery exercises. Adhere to established change management processes. Create and maintain operational procedures. Provide level 3 technical support and participate in team on-call rotation. Participate in capacity planning, ensuring that systems have the capacity to meet strategic business needs with few or no reliability issues. Work with 3rd-party vendors to procure hardware and software solutions, as well as addressing updates and issues after implementation. Provide assistance and mentoring to Network Infrastructure Administrators and other Network Infrastructure Engineers. Other duties may be assigned to meet ongoing business needs.
