In our team, you can always stay at the forefront of technology, have access to and learn about the latest generation of networking technologies worldwide. Together with other outstanding engineers in the team, you will create reliable, stable, and high-speed network access products for users, provide user-friendly and convenient smart home solutions, and bring convenience to the lives of millions of users worldwide! Key Responsibilities:  Execute manual and automated testing for smart home products, including cameras, smart plugs, bulbs, and robot vacuums, etc. Test device connectivity with cloud platforms and mobile apps. Assist in log collection and analysis for debugging purposes. Participate in or assist with Local Test & Beta Test, collect user feedback, and follow up on reproducing issues. Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues. Document test cases, results, and bug reports. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software or consumer electronics testing. Basic knowledge of networking protocol (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi,  Bluetooth, etc.) Basic knowledge of networking issue debug methods. Familiarity with test case design and execution. Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with different teams. Additional Skills (Preferred): Knowledge of smart home ecosystems (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit). Familiarity with test automation tools and continuous integration technologies Deep understanding of user experience, attention to detail, and ability to think and analyze problems from a user perspective. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with extensive experience in Linux based embedded systems to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, driving quality initiatives, and mentoring junior resources to ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability. Key/Primary Responsibilities • Work with a team of test engineers to ensure effective testing practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, to define testing requirements and priorities. • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software and hardware components. • Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely communication and resolution with development teams. • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and lead initiatives to improve product quality and testing processes. • Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in embedded systems testing, and advocate for their integration into the team’s processes. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in development and testing embedded systems, with a focus on both hardware and software components. • Deep expertise in embedded programming languages (e.g., C, C++), and real-time operating systems (RTOS). • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Gtest, Pytest, etc.) and automated testing methodologies. • Experience working on Linux environment and using Linux tools • Exposure to CI/ CD processes and tools • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) and hardware interfaces. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good analytical and debugging skills to identify root cause of failure. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior members. Added Bonus: • OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other related/equivalent certifications. • Experience with compliance regulations/laws, security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, COBIT, OWASP, ITIL, etc.).  • Experience with one or more of the following industries: law enforcement, defense, intelligence community, automotive, manufacturing, software,  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience  • Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.
