MUST be local to Metro Atlanta Onsite REQUIRED The Georgia Dept. of Labor (GDOL) is looking for a skilled and experienced Quality analyst (tester) This role involves writing testcases, testing the applications, validating the results, identifying and logging the bugs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of testing Java programming language, and JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe operating systems. This is a consulting position offering a challenging opportunity to contribute to critical projects and enhance your technical skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: 1. analyzing business requirements and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios and test cases. Perform testing activities for Java, programs            on distributed platforms.  2. Strong Experience with database technologies such as Postgres and DB2 including queries and data verification  3. Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, review results, and ensure the correctness of program changes based on provided            requirements. 4. Hands on experience in Jira tool 5. Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation to support the software development lifecycle. 6. Organize, manage and provide clear guidance to teams in order to reach the testing goals and tight deadlines with candor, transparency &               collaboration. Required Experience/Skills: 1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Testing Java programs 2. Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres 3. Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, including writing test cases, execution of test cases and integration testing,             and deployment. 4. Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug computer software to produce required outcomes. 5. Strong analytical skills to support non-database functions, correct data errors, and develop data analysis/summary reports. 6. Experience in preparing comprehensive documentation for both program-level and user-level. 7. Excellent communication skills to obtain user sign-off on all changes prior to moving to production. 8. Capability to follow organization guidelines and procedures for checking out source code, migrating changes, etc. 9. Commitment to enhancing software for improved efficiency and reduced operating time. Good to have /Skills: 1. Java programing knowledge  2. AWS hands on experience 3. Kofax

Sr. Test Embedded Engineer - (VSE)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with extensive experience in Linux based embedded systems to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, driving quality initiatives, and mentoring junior resources to ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability. Key/Primary Responsibilities • Work with a team of test engineers to ensure effective testing practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, to define testing requirements and priorities. • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software and hardware components. • Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely communication and resolution with development teams. • Conduct root cause analysis of defects and lead initiatives to improve product quality and testing processes. • Participate in team meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in embedded systems testing, and advocate for their integration into the team’s processes. Requirements • 8+ years of experience in development and testing embedded systems, with a focus on both hardware and software components. • Deep expertise in embedded programming languages (e.g., C, C++), and real-time operating systems (RTOS). • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Gtest, Pytest, etc.) and automated testing methodologies. • Experience working on Linux environment and using Linux tools • Exposure to CI/ CD processes and tools • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) and hardware interfaces. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good analytical and debugging skills to identify root cause of failure. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior members.
