Dolly and hand cart provided. - Provide excellent customer service while performing deliveries. - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatcher. - Valid drivers license required. A tire technician installs, repairs, balances, and replaces tires on various vehicles, ensuring vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Key duties include mounting and dismounting tires, performing tire repairs like patching punctures, using tire changers and balancing machines, inspecting tires for wear and damage, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. They must also follow safety protocols, operate power tools and lifts, potentially assist with customer service, and sometimes perform roadside assistance or fleet checks. Key Responsibilities: Tire Installation & Replacement: Removing old tires and wheels, installing new tires, and remounting them onto vehicles. Tire Maintenance & Repair: Performing tire rotations, balancing, repairing small punctures, and replacing valve stems. Equipment Operation: Using and maintaining machinery such as tire changers, wheel balancers, lifts, and various hand and power tools. Inspection & Safety: Inspecting tire casings for defects like holes and tears, checking for proper tire pressure, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Customer Service: Explaining services, recommending new tires, and sometimes closing tire sales. Workshop Maintenance: Keeping the service area, tools, and equipment clean and organized, and disposing of unusable tires.
