We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Caregiver to support an adult female with an intellectual disability in Dunedin, FL. This position requires availability Monday through Friday and one to two weekends per month to assist with daily living activities and encourage community engagement. Responsibilities: • Provide prompting and assistance with personal hygiene. • Prepare and assist with meal planning and preparation. • Support with household chores and maintaining a clean living space. • Encourage community involvement and physical activity to promote an active lifestyle. • Ensure a safe and supportive environment at all times. • Oversee daily routines, including attending an ADT program Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Although she can change the bag herself, she would appreciate someone to come and look after her for one hour a day during those days. the time of the hour shift is totally flexible. You will be greatly compensated. You would simply stop in, check the bag, and go. But of course, paid for the whole hour or more if it takes longer than one hour to ensure that everything is perfect. The location of the patient is on the Galt Ocean Mile. She currently has a condo on the Galt Ocean Mile, but is afraid to visit for a longer period because she does not trust herself changing the colostomy bag.
