URGENT HIRING — ON-CALL KITCHEN / PREP STAFF Blackberry Soul Fine Catering | Bay Area, CA Do you love cooking, chopping, stirring, plating? Are you reliable, fast, and organized? Join our back-of-house team! What You’ll Do: • Assist with food preparation: chopping, measuring, portioning • Cook and finish dishes under supervision • Plate, package, and stage food for events • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, washing, sanitizing, and organizing • Support the kitchen team during busy events What We’re Looking For: • Some kitchen or food prep experience (restaurant, catering, etc.) preferred • Basic culinary knowledge, knife skills, ability to follow recipes • Strong sanitation habits, attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure • Flexible, on-call availability • Able to stand, bend, lift up to ~50 lbs Pay: $23.00/hour Type: On-call / as-needed shifts Location: Bay Area, CA (primarily in area kitchens; occasional event sites) Why Work with Blackberry Soul? What You’ll Do: • Load, transport, and set up tables, chairs, linens, service stations • Arrange décor, signage, buffet lines, props as directed • Assist with placing food stations, serving areas • Breakdown and pack equipment, props, rentals after events • Load out from venue and return materials to storage What We’re Looking For: • Strong physical stamina; ability to lift ~50 lbs or more • Experience with event setup, staging, or warehouse work is a plus • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions • Punctual, dependable, able to work on-call • Basic problem-solving and ability to adapt on site Pay: $23.00/hour Type: On-call / as-needed shifts Location: Bay Area, CA (various event venues) Why Work with Blackberry Soul?
