The primary role of this position is to operate the garbanzo cleaning facility. Cleaning months are typically September-April, with operation intermittent at times depending on markets and product availability. When there is not cleaning work to be done, there is work on the farm side of things. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required, looking for someone who is not afraid of hard work. Compensation $20-28/hr depending on experience and qualifications. Combining, bank out wagon driving, truck driving, and repairs as needed. September-October (65-80 hrs/wk): Fall field work. This work includes harrowing, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, truck driving and many other tasks to get crops planted and established. Fall tillage to prepare for upcoming spring work. Locally based out of our operation center in Franklin, NH, crews travel to job sites across the country for repair and lining of tanks. Most jobs run from 3 to 5 Days and crew members each get a private hotel room and generous food per diem while on the job. A good amount of overtime pay.
