FS/FT - Complete Toyo 45cf 4x5 large format kit - $1,200

Fantastic 4x5 large format camera kit here, for sale or trade, which has been refurbished to optimal condition. These "carbon fiber" 45CF Toyo cameras often crack in the bottom corners where the mechanism hinges are inside. Brackets were tediously measured and 3D modeled them in CAD software and then had perfectly matching corner brackets fabricated by Send-Cut-Send and replaced the screws with longer ones to mount them to the camera. It looks OEM and addresses that inherently weak design flaw from Toyo (covered, not replaced). The flip back cover and the flip up dark viewing cover with new material, and it all works perfectly- no need for dark cloth to view the images. A loupe would help to have, of course. Included is a Fujinon W 135mm lens with Copal shutter- excellent condition and working properly. It stays on the camera and can be inside while it's closed. There is a learning curve with these cameras- you must properly return all positions to neutral before closing it- but all of that is in the manual. A remote shutter cable (new condition) also included, as well as some extra 3D printed lens boards, including a recessed version for 65 or 75mm lens. The horizontal plane of the camera tips down so as to get out of the way for wide angle shooting. There are 3 film holders, all light tight and in great shape. Also I will include 3 boxes of film (pictured) each is about half full. So all you need here is a changing bag and you are set. If you are doing processing at home, there is a B's 4x5 spool included that works with the Paterson multi-reel 3 tank, so you can avoid paying lab fees. the savings in doing that is remarkable. its about $1-2 to develop six sheets of 4x5 film, versus paying $45 for 6. And it's also got the perfect carry case for it, which holds off of it nicely and has room still for another lens or two. very secure with nice strap and handles.
