Piano Lessons - All Ages and levels

Hello! My name is Greg Keys, I'm a touring musician with over 20 years of piano experience, and 8 years of live performance experience. I recently moved to Greenville, SC from Charleston, where I had 15+ students that I taught for over 5 years. My approach is a little more modern and different than traditional lessons. While utilizing the lesson books students are typically expected to learn, I also integrate both modern songs, concepts, and technology to help fast track not only the learning process but what I believe to be the most important part, which is getting students to fall in love with playing music. I wasted countless hours as a kid avoiding the piano because I wasn't interested in what I was learning, so as I became a teacher I put focus on presenting material to my students that they might actually enjoy while still teaching them the lessons of the week from the books. Over the years, it became a student-forward enjoyable approach to learning the piano, and deciding one's personal musical path along the way. Some students want to go the classical route, while others are more focused on being able to perform an array of songs and chords so they can start a band or write music. With my lessons, we can cater the experience towards what best fits each student. So whether it be learning how to perform live, how to create a setlist, or how to get better at different parts of the instrument itself, you'll be able to do so. My lessons are $55 for an hour, but the first lesson/consultation is free, and I can teach multiple students in the hour so if 2 students need lessons at the same home, I can do 2 30-minute lessons for the same price.
