Key Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Assist in trial preparation and attend court hearings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Analyze and summarize medical records and other evidence. Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law preferred. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary with bonus ranging from $150,000 to $225,000 per year, based on experience and performance. Qualifications: · J.D. or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school. · Bar admission in any U.S. state (New York or New Jersey preferred). · Minimum 5 years of direct immigration litigation experience. · Strong knowledge of INA, CAT, asylum law, and BIA/Federal court procedures. · Fluency in Spanish or another second language is highly desirable. · Excellent oral and written advocacy skills. · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and handle high-volume dockets. Preferred Experience: · Prior work as an Assistant Chief Counsel (OCC), Legal Aid or NGO immigration litigator, or solo practitioner in immigration court. · Familiarity with detained removal defense and FOIA/litigation strategies. · Experience preparing expert witness affidavits and cross-examinations.
