Vintage Sequins Top 'Butterly' Front, Small Size - $45 (Asheville)

I purchased this in India in the 1980's. It is really shiny and glittery and would make a great top for a very special occasion. It is a small size. Measured lying flat, it is 20" from underarm to underarm. Measuring flat from mid neckline to bottom is 15". The sleeves measured from underarm to the are 6". The front has a stylized butterfly on it with gold sequins. All of the other sequins are silver colored. silk gauze butterfly motif in front only There is a bit of beadwork on it but it is mostly all sequins. Because of its age, there ae some worn spots under the sleeves which I have lovingly mended. The material underneath the sequins is a gauzy crepe type loose weave. It might be silk but I'm not sure. The thinness of the fabric makes it very breezy and breathable; plus, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Crepe is great for wicking moisture. I have had it in storage for decades in an always pet-free and smoke-free home.
