Selling my 2003 Ford Explorer XLT (173,000 miles). Reliable 4.0L V6 engine, automatic transmission, and loaded with features. I’ve invested over $8,500 in maintenance in the last 2 years. PROS: New battery New air filter All new brakes (pads, rotors, calipers) New serpentine belt New tires New intake manifold gaskets New control arms & ball joints New fuel filter & fuel pump New PCV valve New valve cover gaskets New fuel injectors CONS: Rattling noise around 2,200 RPM (possibly heat shield) Blend door actuator is broken (affects temp control) Parking brake pedal does not stay locked, occasional power loss issues which may be fusible link or fuel issue. (Happens rarely but good to know) I've spent 2 years investing in TONS of work on this car, but there's more to do and I'm unable to do it myself or put more $$ towards it. I'm flexible on the price but need it gone. Come check it out!
