Locally Grown Restaurants Seeking Graphic Designer + Marketing Assist. (Downtown Anchorage)

This position supports the Marketing and Community Relations Manager in all areas relating to the publicity and marketing of the group of restaurants within our Locally Grown Restaurants family, including: menu design and edits, project management, poster and signage design, website design and maintenance, merchandise design, helping with staff events, community outreach, photography, and other duties as assigned.
The Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant has solid, on-trend graphic design skills, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, is a flexible team player, an adept proofreader, and appreciates the importance of meeting deadlines. The ability to change priorities with a moment’s notice is key, as are strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Operations:Collaborates with the Marketing and Community Relations Manager and management team to achieve marketing goals
Participates in project management, including event planning, community outreach, merchandise design, etc.
Readies files for printer and manages print projects
Is highly organized and efficient in how they manage their time, workspace, task list, and conflicting priorities
Travels to restaurants for regular meetings and print materials audits
Other Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to communicate, write, and understand English
Strong technical skills in graphic design and digital design
Expertise in Adobe InDesign and Illustrators
Experience in project management preferred
Restaurant background is a plus
Work Environment - Open office environment with light to medium foot traffic.
Position Type/Expetcted Hours of Work - This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position, requiring approximately 40 hours per week, mainly during normal business hours.
