Guardian has an immediate need for a Maintenance Assistant to join our experienced and committed team at Park Avenue West! Park Avenue West is a conventional apartment community in Portland, OR with 202 units. We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Maintenance Assistant to support in the required cleaning and minor property maintenance necessary to maintain curb appeal and the overall appearance and quality of the property. A Maintenance Assistant’s primary role is to assist and support in the required cleaning and minor property maintenance necessary to maintain curb appeal and the overall appearance and quality of the property/ies listed above. This will include processing work orders as assigned by the Community Manager/s and/or Maintenance Lead/Supervisor/s which may include routine maintenance of property/ies and apartment units. This position is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work is done in compliance with OSHA regulations and Guardian policies and procedures. We are willing to train the right individual, so this is an excellent entry level opportunity for individuals interested in a career in property maintenance. Schedule: 40 hours / week, Sunday - Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Compensation: $22/hr + benefits! Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.
