Part-Time Classical Pilates Instructor (Mar Vista / Venice / Culver City / Marina del Rey)

Powerhouse Pilates is actively seeking a part time classical Pilates Instructor to teach private, semi-private sessions, and small group classes at our studio in Mar Vista. We are accepting applicants who are certified, newly certified, or who are in the process of completing certification. Mentoring will be provided to apprentices upon hiring, and base pay will be based on experience, teaching skills, and commitment level. Ok The ideal candidate is someone who loves Pilates and is committed to ongoing continuing education, to building and maintaining a steady clientele, and to actively contributing to the growth of the studio. Overview of Instructor duties: - Teach private and/or semi-private sessions. Instructors must be trained to teach on apparatus beyond the Reformer and Mat (such as the Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Chairs, etc.) - Conduct small group Pilates classes on the Reformer/Tower/Jumpboard/Mat - Provide guidance on proper form and technique during exercises - Create personalized Pilates programs based on clients' needs and goals - Maintain a clean and organized studio environment About our studio: We are a classical Pilates studio in the heart of Mar Vista along Venice Blvd. We serve the neighborhoods of Marina del Rey, Venice, and Culver City. Our studio is fully equipped with Reformers, Cadillacs, Barrels, Chairs, Pedi-Pole, Spine Correctors and other apparatus from Balanced Body and Pilates Designs. Powerhouse Pilates offers training in both Private Sessions as well as Duos or Semi-Private Sessions with Mat, Reformer, and Tower Classes.
