Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred. Ability to communicate with patients, staff and visitors. Aptitude to perform basic calculations and transcription of numerical records is required. Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required. Carry weight and lift up to 10lbs. frequently, and up to 40lbs. occasionally. Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions. Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Environment Services Manager, or designee, cleans and services hospital building area, including patient and non-patient space, and performs a variety of housekeeping and or laundry duties to maintain the hospital and its grounds in an orderly and sanitary condition. Job Type: Per Diem; Day, Evening, Night Salary: $24.8624/hourly COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
