Responsibilities • Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their orders. • Bartenders: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar or server area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. • Operate Toast POS system to process orders and payment transactions. • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. • Serve as a team member, supporting other staff as needed. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Requirements • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests. • Familiarity with food service operations, including food & beverage handling and safety protocols. • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately. • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. • Previous experience in an upscale dining / nightclub / sports bar venue preferred but not required. Ideal candidates can: 1. rock it when it s slow or busy 2. follow directions 3. get everything done without supervision 4. follow proper food handling rules 5. pick up shifts as needed 6. help on the floor and behind bar as needed. We are looking for a happy, positive, people-oriented person to join our team! Everyone is cross-trained to bartend to help out where needed when it s busy. We are small and do many things in nontraditional ways (like cooking everything in a pizza oven) that we're more like a quirky cafe than a restaurant or bar. Must be: 21 or older, able to lift 50lbs, able to stand for up to 10 hours a day, able to climb ladders and be comfortable in small spaces with close proximity to others. Entry level kitchen shifts start at $20.76 plus $15-$20/hour in tips plus PTO. Staff food/drink discount. Hours: 20 hours/week. Current shift openings are Sunday and Tuesday 12-10pm.
