Studio Montessori is seeking a full-time Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. We’re a bilingual Montessori preschool serving children ages 0–3, offering a calm, joyful, and respectful environment where each child’s independence and growth are supported. Responsibilities: Support the Lead Teacher in caring for and guiding children ages 0–3. Help maintain a clean, safe, and beautiful classroom. Observe and record children’s development and daily activities. Prepare Montessori materials and assist with daily routines. Collaborate with team members and communicate warmly with families. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must meet all of the following to be considered: At least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, or currently enrolled in coursework toward completion. Proof of recent physical exam (within 6 months) including TB test. Current immunizations as required by California licensing. Clear criminal background check (Live Scan). Completion of required CDSS licensing paperwork before start. Preferred: Experience in a Montessori environment (ages 0–3). Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish. Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification. Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day. Bend, sit, kneel, and move easily at the child’s level.
