We are one exit away from Salem and Tuscan Village. Our custom home was once a lake cottage built in 1947. We added a 2,000+ sq ft addition and with a nod to a New England farm house, worked with an architect and custom builder to bring this home to life. We are 800 feet from our private community beach and our private marina. We hear peepers in the Spring, loons calling in the Summer and owls in the Fall. We have visits from deer, fox, turkey, bobcat and the occasional black bear, but we are a six minute drive from Route 93. We will miss it, but are anxious for our next (smaller) build.
