We are in search of experienced finish carpenters who take pride in their work and are able to work well with others. Since every window and door is unique, you should be able to read plans and have adequate problem solving skills. Responsibilities: Glass technicians must: - Operate a company vehicle to various job sites around the Bay Area - Remove broken glass safely. - Be capable operating glass cutters accurately. - Be familiar with and capable of using general common power tools (incl. drill & impact driver, miter saw, oscillating multi-tool, routing table, circular saw, hammer drills, electric chisels, etc.) - Measure, cut and install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, mirrors and more. - Work on commercial doors, replacing frames, hardware and glass. On both manual and automatic doors. - Have experience working with electronic entry systems, such as mag locks, ADA hardware (operators and buttons) and door closers. - Be able to communicate with customers on-site to preform the work. - Customer service at all levels. Teamwork at all levels. Qualifications: Valid work permit or Form I-9. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Able to pass a live-scan for work on secured jobsites. (CA DOJ) Personal tools and equipment. (Hand tools and drill/driver set to get started) Ability to lift 75+ lbs. Proficiency in communicating in English is required.
