We are hiring a dog walker available Friday thru Sunday We will most likely only need you for 5-7 hours or so a day, but it may get busier. While many of our clients are in the harlem and upper east it can vary, and some visits will be in the upper west side. This is a perfect job if you have availability everyday at the same time, but because it is working with animals, the schedule changes very often. Some days we need you at 8 am others and others at 11 am. We ask for some holidays but are flexible. This is a great job for artists and actors. We ask that you plan to be at the job for at least 6 months. We are seeking a knowledgeable person, with experience with both dogs and cats. Either by owning or working with them in a professional setting. We are a Dog walking & Cat sitting company first, so as a new teammate you would have to be introduced to all our dogs and cats. And would have to be comfortable stepping in with a moment’s notice to assist the team. There will be a lot of train travel and walking between pets. Our dogs come in all shapes and sizes. And so are their personalities! Responsibilities: Be okay with walkups Be able to manage your time effectively Be able to react quickly Be okay with sudden changes, including scheduling Know some dogs will growl at you before trusting you Requirements Be over the ages of 18 Move quickly Be in good health Have a smart phone with reliable internet, we use an app. Be comfortable traveling on the subway. Weighs loads on plant scales for tracking purposes as directed. • Monitor the solids production and Bloom production needs. • Receives and ensures proper storage of feedstock shipments. • Collects product samples as needed. • Records daily activity and operating conditions. Responsible for tracking feedstock and product storage. • Performs route inspections of manned and unmanned facilities and equipment • Monitors and adjusts greenhouse operating conditions, including watering, temperature, air flow and plant growth. • Operates overhead crane in biosolids loading facility as needed. • Responsible for cleaning and general housekeeping in blending and curing facilities. • Operates a variety of Authority vehicles and equipment including front-end loader, backhoe, skidsteer, blending equipment, pickup truck, etc. as an essential function of the position. Maintains vehicles and/or equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Reports any operating deficiencies to the appropriate Authority personnel. • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned at the discretion of the immediate supervisor.
