We are a small business with 5 networked computers. We use Microsoft Access to manage our client base. Recently lost our "computer guy" who moved out of state. We have a solid system and a well functioning Access database. Occasionally we will run into networking issues, or need minor changes to the Access database. Thus we seek someone looking for contract occasional work when issues needing attention arise. Must have good knowledge of networking and maintaining the office computers. Required to have working experience using and or working with Microsoft Access databases. Background and references will be checked for accuracy. Pay is negotiable. Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends. Experience leading complex, major changes and initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and interpersonal level; experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce. Position Overview: Collaborate with the project management team to plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. Assigned Responsibilities: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment on the construction site. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards and assist with field supervision. Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage all project documentation, including submittals, requests for information, contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Manage the procurement process, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, tracking long lead deliverables, and building relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Utilize project management software to track project metrics, update project status, and facilitate communication within the project team. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions in a dynamic construction environment. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and collaborate with team members. Travel to project sites may be required.
