We are a small business with 5 networked computers. We use Microsoft Access to manage our client base. Recently lost our "computer guy" who moved out of state. We have a solid system and a well functioning Access database. Occasionally we will run into networking issues, or need minor changes to the Access database. Thus we seek someone looking for contract occasional work when issues needing attention arise. Must have good knowledge of networking and maintaining the office computers. Required to have working experience using and or working with Microsoft Access databases. Background and references will be checked for accuracy. Pay is negotiable. Job Title: Field Service Technician Location: Atlanta Metro Area Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Service Technician with at least three (3) years of hands-on experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronics, IP phones, security cameras, and household or commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a technical service team. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and repair a variety of electronic devices and systems, including IP phones, security cameras, and connected appliances. • Troubleshoot technical issues onsite and provide timely, effective solutions. • Perform preventative maintenance and quality checks to ensure optimal equipment performance. • Accurately document all work performed and communicate status updates to customers and management. • Maintain a clean, professional work environment and uphold company standards during all service calls. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of field service or technical repair experience. • Strong knowledge of electronic systems, networking fundamentals, and basic electrical principles. • Experience with tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to lift and move equipment as required (up to 50 lbs). Preferred: • Certifications in electronics, networking (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco), or related technical fields. • Experience with VoIP systems, CCTV setups, and smart home installations. This position reports to the Manager of Network Services and will manage all aspects of the project including vendors and consultants to achieve goals on all the network projects with an enthusiastic willingness to contribute. The Senior Network Engineer must have rich experience managing enterprise networks, architecture design, implementation, migration, and operation management, which may involve the following technologies: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Audio Visual, Voice systems, Server/Storage/Backup systems, etc. This role must be able to gather IT requirements, build and manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and create status reports. Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders and key Business users. Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project & stakeholders involve ensuring consistency in reaching the project's goal. Works closely with the users and technology workstreams to identify requirements. Prepares cost estimates for staff resources, vendors, consultants, hardware, and service costs (i.e. WAN, Internet, voice circuits, etc.) Develop project plans, define team deliverables, and supervise the work of various team members. Conduct all aspects of project initiation, planning, execution, and closure for projects. Manage issues, risks, change controls, and status reporting. Provide technical insights and advice to customer stakeholders for the project’s planning & execution. Support project sponsors and the team to communicate, report, and collaborate with Toyota’s counterpart departments in Japan. Applies project management methodologies (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.) and best practices as directed by senior management or that are most appropriate for the project. Supervises technical resources, including contingent workers, associates, and 3rd party vendor staff as appropriate. Oversee IT installations on-site (may require travel) Plans team members’ work assignments and schedules, and guides and monitors work performance. Communicates project status regularly to the management and project stakeholders. Provide decision support for project sponsors, decision-makers, and stakeholders involved in related projects. Define & maintain roadmaps detailing workstreams for continuous improvement. Prepare closing documents, and ensure smooth transitions to Operations Teams and local IS Teams Improve project performance via regular status reporting and executive reviews. Investigate specific performance issues and communicate early warning signs of risk. Enforce consistent performance reporting guidelines to make reporting efficient for stakeholders. Recognize any potential opportunities, risks, or complications at the customer side. Inform TTS-US upper management to make action plans for TTS-US to expand its business opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree  Japanese/English bilingual  3+ years of hands-on work within large-scale enterprise networking environments.  Fundamentals of Networking and demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.  Good level understanding of TCP/IP routing and switching, along with network design best practices (CCNP Level)  Good level understanding of dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.), Network Security (Firewall, NAC, etc.), Switching topologies on both Wired/Wireless networks, and Cloud/Virtual networking. (CCNP Level)  Experience writing technical specifications is recommended.
