Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Review patient's dental and medical history Sterilize instruments according to regulations Take xrays on patients Educate patients on good oral hygiene Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Skills Proven experience as dental hygienist Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Graduating from an accredited dental hygiene school and up to date licensing from the State of Maryland Additional certification or training is an asset (local, nitrous) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $58.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist Nitrous and Anesthesia License is a plus
