For Immediate Hire: Seeking reliable and well-rounded cooks. No late nights. AM, PM, and Combo shifts available. Breakfast experience is a plus! Busy restaurant/bar with a classic menu of American basic dishes and NOLA specialties, cooked authentically from scratch. We have a tight crew who value cooperation and a respectful workplace. Applicant must have solid experience including sauté, grill, pantry, and fry stations, and must enjoy working independently and multitasking at a fast pace. We are open every day of the year, so weekends and holidays may be required. Important skills are: Cooking to order quickly and consistently. Attractive plating. Maintaining a clean, organized line. Efficient prep and good knife skills. Handling food safely, with knowledge of proper sanitation. Cooperating with team members, BOH and FOH Keeping up with fair share of cleaning and side work.
