Key Responsibilities: Inspect sheet metal parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized deburring equipment to remove burrs and smooth edges. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to verify specifications. Ensure finished parts meet dimensional and surface quality standards. Maintain tools and work area to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve defects or inconsistencies. Skills & Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Familiarity with various deburring tools, abrasives, and finishing techniques. Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Commitment to safety and quality standards. Sheet Metal Second Operator Experience Required: 2+ years Summary: Operates and monitors fabrication machinery to produce precise sheet metal components according to engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor press brakes, shears, punch presses, and related machinery. Prepare materials, measure and align components according to blueprints. Load and unload machines safely and efficiently. Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure conformance to specifications. Conduct routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Skills & Qualifications: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders. Strong understanding of fabrication processes and running the break. Know how to setup break machine. Skilled in precision measurement and material handling. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
