Sales Associate – Iconic Fabric Store in Union Square ($25–$30/hr) (financial district)

Britex Fabrics, San Francisco’s legendary home for world-class textiles, is seeking a Sales Associate with a passion for high-end fabric, fashion, and exceptional customer service. Located in the heart of Union Square, Britex has been a beloved destination for designers, sewists, and creatives for over 70 years. We offer an inspiring retail environment and carry a curated collection of luxury textiles from around the world. ⸻ Position Details:     •    Role: Sales Associate     •    Pay: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)     •    Schedule:     •    Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM     •    One Saturday a month: same hours (11:00–4:00) ⸻ We’re looking for someone who:     •    Has sales experience in a retail setting     •    Is knowledgeable about textiles, sewing, and fabric types     •    Has a strong sense of style and fashion     •    Is professional, well-spoken, and customer-oriented     •    Thrives in a boutique environment and can work with a high-end clientele     •    Is dependable and comfortable working in a historic and iconic store ⸻ What You’ll Be Doing:     •    Assisting customers with selecting fabrics for apparel, interiors, and custom projects     •    Educating clients about textile types and usage     •    Processing transactions and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor     •    Contributing to a welcoming, stylish, and knowledgeable store atmosphere ⸻ Preferred Qualifications:     •    Background in fashion, textiles, and/or sewing     •    Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment     •    Strong interpersonal and communication skills ⸻ 📍 Location: Britex Fabrics – Union Square, San Francisco, CA ⸻ To Apply: Please reply with a resume and a brief note on your experience with sales and/or textiles.
