Plumbing & HVAC Project Manager SIGMA Mechanical Services, LLC of Marshfield, MA is a well-established Plumbing & HVAC Subcontractor that does commercial projects in MA. SIGMA is seeking an experienced full-time Project Manager with Plumbing & HVAC Knowledge to be involved in all aspects of our projects from start to finish. Your daily contribution will have a direct effect on the success of our Company. This is a full-time In-Person position only. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of Plumbing & HVAC experience Valid Driving License OSHA 10 card and willing to get an OSHA 30 card Strong understanding of all plumbing and mechanical systems Ability to speak, read, and write English in a proficient manner Understand the scope of work as shown on the construction documents Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced ever-changing environment to meet deadlines Responsibilities: Serve as a main point of contact for communication with owners, architects, project team members Review project drawings, specs, and project specific documents to establish project scope Assist in development of estimates and bid proposals and vendor/subcontractor buyout Maintain dialogue with vendors and subcontractor’s regarding their scope of work Create purchase orders and coordinate material/equipment release with subs and vendors Review, comprehend, coordinate and process submittals and shop drawings, track and verify that materials required for the project are delivered in accordance with the project schedule Document and inform PE of events that impact the pricing, scope of work and the project schedule Maintain project logs that track contracts, insurance, permits, submittals, PO’s, deliveries, RFI’s and CO’s Save and maintain project related correspondence and documents in network file structure Attend project meetings online and onsite, and takes notes as necessary Solicit and manage pricing from suppliers for change orders and change requests, ASI’s and bulletins Set up SOV’s and track project progress for billing material and labor for monthly requisitions Ensure foreman has updated project information (drawings, specs, RFI’s, submittals, etc.) Assist Foreman and other team members in the resolution of all critical issues and provide documentation, as necessary Coordinate subcontractor start-up and commissioning, closeout process and owner training These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive but represent the typical type of work performed by employees in this position.
