Small Sheet Metal Shop in Hayward is seeking a Powder coat painter. Must have at least 3 years experience powder coating parts for a job shop. Must be willing to help in shop where needed when not painting. This is a day job 7:30-4:00 M-F Must be dependable and able to stand for entire shift. We utilize HAAS equipment to manufacture metal and plastic parts for our customers. We are looking CNC Set-Up person to work with us for the next 3-6 months. We need an experienced Machinist, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to be able to operate CNC equipment with minimal support. Job Description: As a machinist, your responsibility will be to take work orders and programs and run the production parts using HAAS equipment. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings, running the programs, deburring, and QCing the parts. Ensuring that your daily workload is completed, and done so accurately, communicating with the Management Team effectively if a roadblock arises. You are expected to have enough experience to be able to troubleshoot typical production issues for your part, experience in HAAS machines and reading schematics will be helpful. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Operate HAAS CNC machines Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal communication skills Strong problem-solving mindset Continuous improvement mindset Has experience using precision measuring tools Has experience setting up HAAS CNC Machines 4th and 5th Axis Self-starter Willing and able to follow instructions Punctual Can lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally Not adverse to bending, reaching, squating, twisting, kneeling, and stooping daily.
