ShareA trusted general contractor with over 25 years of experience in Southern California, is looking for a Project Engineer to join there team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow in construction management and be part of exciting public and private projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with the Project Manager to help keep projects on track. • Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project paperwork. • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. • Keep project logs and reports up to date. • Help with scheduling, cost tracking, and pay applications. • Attend site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs. • Assist with problem-solving when issues come up in the field. • Make sure work meets plans, specs, and safety standards. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field (preferred but not required if you have solid experience). • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project support. • Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and contracts. • Comfortable using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word (Bluebeam is a plus). • Strong communication and organization skills. • Team player who can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to visit job sites.
