Surrey's Café, is a great very busy neighborhood breakfast/lunch restaurant on Magazine Street in the Lower Garden District. We’ve been in operation for over 24 years and have quite the good reputation. Duties include • bringing water to just seated customers • Taking simple coffee orders • clearing tables of dishes • constant filling up coffee and water • wiping and resetting tables • sidework, end of the day closing duties. You must move fast on your feet and be able to follow our procedures. This is not a server position. It is a vital position that we respect. We will also need you to occasionally be the host. The hosting position is just that - as customers walk up you take their names and number in the party. You'll handle the seating of customers and good communication with the other workers We will totally ease you into this in time.
