Description

Capulet is looking for someone to work for us in the Back of House for 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday). Two of these days you’ll serve as Line Cook, and the other two days you’ll serve as Dishwasher. Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday; arrive at 2-3:30pm (depending on the day), depart at ~10:15pm Pay: $16/hour plus a portion of the tip split for table service. We hope that you have a love for food and seek excellence in the workplace. Punctuality, communication, and honesty are of paramount importance. If you have a habit of showing up late, this will not be a good fit. We strive for positivity and professionalism in the workplace. Chais Delachaise: Barback (Uptown)
Chais Delachaise is looking for a part-time barback. We are a locally-owned, neighborhood wine bar and bistro located on Maple Street near Tulane and Loyola Universities. We have a small, tight-knit team, a robust wine and cocktail program, and a loyal, growing customer-base. Requirements: Experience as a barback preferred, but not required; however, some experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly preferred, regardless of position. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to bend, reach, and remain on your feet for up to 7 hours straight. Duties: Duties include but are not limited to -getting ice for the bar -changing CO2 tanks -restocking beer and wine throughout service and at the end of the night -monitoring stock of cold wines and icing more bottles down as needed -refilling juices and syrups for the bartender -batching house cocktails, syrups, etc for the bartender -polishing glassware (a lot!) Schedule: 2-3 days a week- every Friday and Saturday and some Thursdays as needed. Must be available to work the weeks of Nov 12-16, 2025, and May 13-17, 2026. Holiday availability strongly preferred. Pay/Benefits: $10 p/h + share of tip pool. The tip pool is calculated by hours worked each day.
