For your consideration is a 1968 Mercedes Benz 280 SE. The car was last register in 1978 and shows 53,252 miles on the odometer which the previous owner said was the accurate mileage, but the title shows 157,000. The car is in overall very good condition and ready to be put back on the road. It looks like it may have undergone one repaint prior to it being parked. The interior is in nice condition and looks to be complete aside from some of the wood trim on the dash that has separated over the years. The car has not been started, but Marvel Mystery Oil has been placed into the cylinders in preparation for it to be brought back to life. Since I'm not very familiar with these cars, I thought it best that its revival be left to an enthusiast. The car has an extensive history of documentation and includes 3 keys and the valet key in the original case. There is some damage to the driver's side headlight area and grill that is visible in one of the pictures. It was stored in a garage since it was parked in 1978. As per the previous owner, who purchased the Mercedes new while he was stationed over seas in 1968, he stopped driving the car because most of his driving was in town and didn't feel as though that suited the Mercedes.
