Howdy, I’m Nellie Mae. I provide house, pet, and farm animal sitting in the Glendale area. I’ve been working with animals, including horses and other farm animals since I was a child living on a ranch. I’ve performed in rodeos, trained cutting horses, drove cattle, helped with foaling and most other facets of horse care. I’m also familiar with smaller farm animals and have owned more than a dozen dogs and numerous cats. I’d be pleased to sit for your pets or farm animals, drop-by or overnight, long-term or short. I’m also available to house-sit whether you have animals or not. References available upon request. Hope to see ya soon. 😊 Drop-in: $25-up/visit, depending on duties and distance. Overnight: $45-up/night, depending on duties and distance. Letter of Reference: I have been acquainted with Nellie Mae for about 3 years. We met through our common interest in horses at Dale Cathey’s barn in Tenmile. Nellie is a seasoned horsewoman and lover of animals. She is kind, caring and responsible. My husband and I are private people who care very much about our animals and our home, so we are very cautious when hiring help. Recently, we had the opportunity to hire Nelle to care for our animals and home while we traveled. Nellie did a wonderful job with our 5 horses and 3 dogs. Four of our horses and 2 of our dogs are seniors who require medication which Nellie was able to handle without trouble. Our dogs usually take quite a while to warm up to strangers, but they greeted Nellie like family. Even our very opinionated cattle dog – we were impressed! We greatly appreciated Nellie’s respect for our animals and home, her level of expertise with our horses and her excellent communication.
