Candidates must be able to: Install, repair and be knowledgeable of the maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial or public buildings. -Assemble and install valves and fittings -Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures -Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges -Measuring, cutting, bending and threading pipes using hand and power tools or machines We ask that you have reliable transportation and a current RI Journeyman license. Education and Experience: •High school diploma or GED preferred. •Must learn electrical safety knowledge. (Lock Out Tag Out) Physical Requirements: •Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. •Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. •Must be able to work in hot and confined spaces (attic work). •Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time. •Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Safety and You: •Must wear proper work shoes or boots while on the job site. •Must wear all PPE required while on the job site. •Must inspect all power tools daily or prior to use. •Must ask a manager for any PPE needed or in need of replacement (i.e. gloves, glasses, ear plugs) •This position requires work on a “Hot House”.
